How to Get Your Pag-IBIG Virtual Card and Check Contributions

Get your Pag-IBIG Virtual Card and check contribution records through the Virtual Pag-IBIG portal at virtualpagibig.com. Here's what you need.

You can get your Pag-IBIG Virtual Card and check your contribution records through the Virtual Pag-IBIG portal at virtualpagibig.com. The Virtual Card serves as a digital version of your Pag-IBIG membership card with your MID number and QR code. The portal also lets you view your full contribution history, total accumulated savings, and outstanding loan balances.

Getting Your Pag-IBIG Virtual Card

Step 1: Register on Virtual Pag-IBIG

If you do not have an account yet:

  • Visit virtualpagibig.com and look for the registration option
  • Provide your Pag-IBIG MID number (Member's ID number), personal details (full name, date of birth), and a valid email address
  • Set your password and complete the email verification

If you do not know your MID number, you can retrieve it at any Pag-IBIG branch with a valid government ID, or call the Pag-IBIG hotline.

Step 2: Log In and Access Your Virtual Card

After registering and verifying your account:

  • Log in to the Virtual Pag-IBIG portal
  • Look for the Virtual Card or Loyalty Card section in your dashboard
  • Your Virtual Card displays your MID number, full name, and a QR code that can be scanned for verification purposes

You can screenshot or save the card image on your phone for easy access when needed — for example, when applying for a Pag-IBIG housing loan or multi-purpose loan.

Checking Your Pag-IBIG Contributions

Once logged in to Virtual Pag-IBIG:

  • Navigate to the contribution inquiry or member savings section
  • You can view contributions by year and month
  • The portal shows both Member Savings (MS) contributions (your savings fund) and employer remittances

What Your Contribution Record Shows

Each entry in your contribution history typically includes:

  • Applicable month — The month the contribution covers
  • Employer name — The company that remitted the contribution
  • Employee share — The amount deducted from your salary
  • Employer share — The matching contribution from your employer
  • Total contribution — Combined employee + employer share for that month

How Much Should My Contribution Be?

Under Republic Act No. 9679 (Home Development Mutual Fund Law of 2009):

Monthly SalaryEmployee ShareEmployer Share
₱1,500 and below1% of salary2% of salary
Over ₱1,5002% of salary2% of salary

The maximum monthly compensation used to compute contributions is ₱10,000, so:

  • Maximum employee share: ₱200/month (2% of ₱10,000)
  • Maximum employer share: ₱200/month (2% of ₱10,000)
  • Maximum total: ₱400/month

For example, if you earn ₱25,000, your Pag-IBIG deduction is ₱200 (capped at 2% of ₱10,000), and your employer also contributes ₱200.

Note: Members can choose to contribute more than the mandatory amount through the Pag-IBIG Modified Pag-IBIG 2 (MP2) savings program, which offers higher dividends.

What If Contributions Are Missing?

If your contribution record shows gaps:

  1. Allow for processing time — Pag-IBIG contributions may take several weeks to post after your employer remits.

  2. Contact your employer — Request the Pag-IBIG remittance receipts or reference numbers for the months in question.

  3. File a complaint — If your employer deducted contributions from your salary but did not remit them, report this to the nearest Pag-IBIG branch. Non-remittance is a violation of RA 9679, which imposes penalties including fines and imprisonment on employers who fail to remit.

  4. Check your payslips — Compare the Pag-IBIG deduction on your payslip against the posted contribution on the portal.

Other Things You Can Do on Virtual Pag-IBIG

Beyond checking contributions, the Virtual Pag-IBIG portal also allows you to:

  • Check total accumulated savings — Your Member Savings balance, including dividends earned
  • View loan balances — Outstanding multi-purpose loan (MPL) or housing loan balances and payment history
  • Apply for multi-purpose loans — Submit MPL applications online (subject to eligibility: at least 24 monthly contributions, 12 of which are continuous)
  • Request Pag-IBIG certificates — Some certificates and clearances can be requested online

Other Ways to Check

  • Pag-IBIG branch visit — Bring a valid government ID and your MID number
  • Pag-IBIG hotline — Call (02) 8724-4244 (HDMF hotline)
  • Employer's Pag-IBIG portal — Your HR department may be able to look up your records through the employer's Pag-IBIG account
  • Republic Act No. 9679 (Home Development Mutual Fund Law of 2009) — Establishes mandatory Pag-IBIG membership and contribution rates for employed members
  • HDMF Circular No. 274 — Updated guidelines on mandatory contributions
